I am a Senior Financial Economist in the Center for Financial Research at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. My research focuses on measuring market power and economic decisions over space, with applications in landlord pricing power in rental markets and demand for banking services.
At the FDIC, I have studied consumer behavior during bank runs, implications of deposit insurance reform, and cryptocurrency and stablecoin market trends.
I earned my PhD in economics from Michigan State University’s College of Social Science in 2021, and my BA and MA in economics from Old Dominion University’s Strome College of Business.
