Page Title
Teaching
No subtitle or introductory paragraph needed. Go straight into the sections.
Section 1: Instructor of Record
List each course with: course name, institution, term, and a placeholder link for course materials/syllabus.
| Course | Institution | Term | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|
| Development Economics | Michigan State University | Fall 2020 | Placeholder link |
| Principles of Microeconomics | Old Dominion University | Summer 2015 | Placeholder link |
Display format: Match the visual style used for research papers on the Research page (e.g., title prominent, institution and term in a secondary style). Each course should have a linked label like “Materials” or “Syllabus” that is a placeholder (href="#") for now.
Section 2: Teaching Assistant
Group TA roles by institution. No links needed for any TA courses.
Michigan State University (2015–2020) - Public Revenues - Economics of Poverty & Income - International Trade (×4) - Urban Economics (×3) - Intermediate Microeconomics - Introduction to Microeconomics - Introduction to Macroeconomics
American Economics Association Summer Program (AEASP) - Foundations of Microeconomics and Mathematics — Summer 2017
Display format: Institution as a subheading or label, courses listed beneath it. Keep it compact — this section is secondary to Instructor of Record.
Section 3: Other Teaching Materials
This section has three subsections:
3a. Problem Sets and Notes
Placeholder section — no actual files exist yet. Include a brief label or heading and a placeholder item with a href="#" link so it is easy to populate later. Suggested placeholder text:
Problem sets and lecture notes will be posted here.
Or alternatively, include one placeholder entry like: - Problem Set / Notes — Topic TBD
3b. Mentorship and Advising
Placeholder section. Include the heading and a short placeholder note such as:
Details on mentorship and advising activities coming soon.
Leave room for a short paragraph or bulleted list to be added later.
3c. AEASP-FDIC Experiential Learning Partnership
What it is: Luke served as an Experiential Learning Partner for the AEASP-FDIC program in Summer 2024. This is a partnership between the American Economics Association Summer Program (a pipeline program for underrepresented students in economics) and the FDIC. The description will be fleshed out later.
For now: Include the heading, a one-line placeholder entry showing the role and date, and an HTML comment marking it for expansion:
AEASP-FDIC Experiential Learning Partner — Summer 2024
